About the Speakers

Cristine Kao

Prior to joining ABC, Cristine served as the Vice President of Global Marketing at ACTIVE Network, a portfolio company of Global Payments Inc., where she accelerated the marketing organization to better serve as a growth engine and to retain its client base.

Cristine has 20 years of experience in the health sector, fueled by her passion to help companies and communities create healthier lives using Information Technology. She has held sales, operations, and marketing positions at Carestream Health, Phreesia and GE Healthcare where she helped launch award-winning products, create global brands, and open up new and niche markets.

Cristine brings her knowledge of modern marketing that includes demand generation, product marketing, sales enablement, and client success to ABC Fitness. Her focus at ABC will be creating compelling and inspirational market engagement and engaging content that will help ABC support the health and fitness club community through ongoing education and engagement.

Cristine has a Bachelor’s degree in Science and Business with a Biochemistry option from the University of Waterloo. She is also an alumna of the Harvard Business School.

Mark Kapczynski

Mark is the Chief Marketing Officer of Gooten which operates a smart supply chain for brands that are looking to offer mass customization through on-demand manufacturing. He is responsible for all facets of marketing including branding, content marketing, customer acquisition, and loyalty programs.

Prior to Gooten, Kapczynski served as CMO of Wrench, a nationwide mobile car care provider. Kapczynski also ran a business and strategy agency called Kontrol Media. He also spent over 5 years as VP of Corporate Development and Strategy for Experian’s consumer businesses, FreeCreditReport.com.

Kapczynski also worked at Microsoft for over 7 years serving the ecommerce and entertainment industries.

Ben Rees

Ben Rees is the Chief Marketing Officer at Redgate, a role that mixes marketing leadership, general management, extensive strategy work and product marketing. Ben is passionate about putting customers at the centre of everything he does; scaling orgs, once product-market fit has been found; and working with inspirational people.

Ben's main responsibility at the moment is to provide marketing leadership for Redgate, devising a strategy for company growth, identifying new markets, building and working with high performance teams, then leading those teams against aggressive growth targets. Additionally, managing change through organisations, and building strong capability for the future.

Corina Stirbu

Corina is a coffee-fueled Chief Marketing Officer at Wolfpack Digital, which helps startups and tech products in the Medtech, fintech, social, IoT, and SaaS industries grow to the next level through data-driven actions & optimization. Corina identifies new distribution channels and strategic approaches in order to increase MRR and grow the company with healthy and steady KPIs in the long run.
